GENERAL RULES:
“Every student must have a valid college identity card in the premises of the library. It should be produced as and when demanded by any one of the library staff.
Students should borrow/exchange books on the given days only.
If the book is returned back late to the library, students will have to pay 1/-for each day.
Identity card and borrower’s cards are non-transferable.
Students must hale the books or periodicals etc. with great care. Any attempt to damage books or periodicals by defacing them or tearing the pages off shall be treated as misconduct and will be strictly dealt with.
RULES FOR THE STUDY ROOM
Complete silence and strict discipline should be maintained in the library and study-room.
Text books, Reference books, University question papers and journals will be issued to students Against I-cards. Students are not allowed to take them outside the study-room.
If any particular reference is required, students should approach the librarian.
HOME ISSUE
Every student is expected to read and strictly follow the instructions given on the reverse side of the Borrower’s card.
In case of late return of books, students will have to pay a fine of Rs.1/- per day.
Re-issue if the books will depend upon the demand for the same.
Any disregard to these rules will be reported to the principal for appropriate action.
LIBRARY Hours
1) Working hours of the library – 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
2) Working hours of Reading Room – 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
FACILITY & SERVICES
Open Access
The library has open access i.e. the students are allowed to enter the book stack and choose.
Home Lending of Books
Library issue books for one week to students on home lending purpose.
Reference Service
Reference Service is an important service offered by the library. It helps users to make full use of the resources available in the library. It provides guidance in the use of library resources and services, assists in accessing e-journals, e-books, databases, multimedia sources etc.
E-Library /Digital Library
E-library & ERP facility is available for the faculty and students for online access of e-resources.
Multimedia PC’s are available to the users.
News Papers/Magazines/Journals
Access to the 30 Journal and 5 news paper
Rules and Regulations
Silence: Maintaining silence is paramount to allow other users to focus on their work.
Personal Belongings: Bags, briefcases, and other personal items are usually not allowed inside the library and must be deposited at the property counter.
Food and Drinks: Eating and drinking are generally prohibited to prevent damage to books and maintain cleanliness.
Mobile Phones: Mobile phones should be switched off or on silent mode to avoid disruptions.
Respect for Materials: Library books and other resources should be handled with care to prevent damage.
Appropriate Attire: Users are expected to be decently dressed.
Cleanliness: Keeping the library clean and tidy is expected of all users.
Borrowing and Lending:
Membership:
A valid library card or membership is usually required to borrow books.
Borrowing Limits:
There may be limits on the number of books that can be borrowed at a time, as well as the duration for which they can be borrowed.
Overdue Fines:
Overdue books can result in fines, which can vary depending on the library and the length of the delay.
Damaged Items:
Users are responsible for the books they borrow and may be required to pay for any damage or loss.
Return Procedures:
Books should be returned on or before the due date, and some libraries may require returning books for stock verification.

Functions of the Library Advisory Committee
To do annual planning and Annual Budget Provision. To formulate Rules and regulation of the library. To purchase better reading material as required by HOD, teachers and students. To make arrangement for proper storage of books. To provide every possible support and guidance to librarian. To ensure technological up gradation of the library.
